Dona Mayo, a village in Puerto Rico was hit by two hurricanes between 2017 and 2022. The first, a Category 5, named Hurricane Maria, and then Hurricane Fiona, a Category 4. Despite these natural disasters sweeping over the island in such a short span of time, Doña Mayo steadily worked to rebuild and maintain its water systems. RCAP Solutions Caribbean, the mayor, and the residents of Doña Mayo worked tirelessly and collaboratively to arrive at solutions they faced in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria and Fiona.
