RCAP Webinar | Regionalization 101

Regionalization broadly captures utility collaborations and partnerships in all aspects. Some common challenges facing regionalization are overbuilt or underbuilt systems, insufficient rates that are already too high for customers, operator retirements, and federal standards that a community cannot meet. During the presentation, we will cover how to overcome these challenges as well as provide lessons from community leaders who have utilized regionalization in the past. This training is for Public Water Systems operators/decision makers, partners from water associations, local, state, and federal agencies, and other organizations to understand regionalization. This webinar is funded under RCAP’s EPA EFC 23 – 25 grant.
