For Immediate Release

Washington D.C. (May 22, 2023) – The RuralRISE team and the Rural Community Assistance Partnership Incorporated (RCAP) have made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s annual RuralRISE Summit. Both organizations and their local partners worked diligently to put on a great event this year, but unforeseen circumstances led this event to be postponed until spring of 2024.

The individuals who attend this summit each year, along with our partners and sponsors, are essential to creating a special brand of RuralRISE magic. This postponement, while difficult, will allow the team to create an even better experience for attendees in 2024. Thank you to all our registrants and speakers who had already committed to this year! We look forward to having you back in 2024 to continue bringing together entrepreneurial ecosystem builders, non-profits, agencies, and educational institutions from America’s rural communities.

RuralRISE will still be hosted in Waterville and Skowhegan, Maine. Once we have more details for next year’s Summit, we will make an announcement and we hope to see everyone back for RuralRISE 2024.
