Today’s #StraightFromTheTap spotlights an employee of our Southeastern RCAP, SERCAP. Randy Welch is a Technical Assistance Provider located in North Carolina. Welch has been with SERCAP a little over a year but has over 25 years of water and wastewater experience. His previous positions working in a governmental managerial capacity have provided him with the expertise to assist communities with daily operational and managerial difficulties they face within their water systems.

Throughout his industry positions, Welch has been a member of multiple boards for the betterment of water and wastewater across the region. He is a published writer of numerous technical training articles. Welch showed tremendous leadership in assisting communities in North Carolina and Florida following Hurricanes Florence and Michael.

Welch enjoys the family-like atmosphere created through the RCAP network and thinks the teamwork across the organization is what makes him proud to be a member. Thank you, Randy, for all of the hard work and dedication you’ve shown to improve quality of life, starting at the tap.
