On Today’s #StraightFromTheTap, we are highlighting the amazing work completed by Philip Fishburn, a Technical Assistance Provider working in Kansas for our Midwestern RCAP, MAP. Fishburn has been with the RCAP network for the past 23 years. He has had many qualifying experiences preparing him for RCAP. Fishburn has spent years addressing rural issues in governmental positions, including Secretary of Agriculture State Task Force Chair and Legislative Assistant to U.S. Congressman Glickman.
Fishburn is an industry leader in management, utility rates, environmental reports and emergency response procedures. Recently he has been focusing on assisting Rural Development borrowers maintain compliance. Fishburn’s favorite thing about being a part of the RCAP network is seeing how the development of water and wastewater systems has served as the foundation for healthy and vibrant rural communities. He enjoys seeing how his work in communities helps people achieve their dreams. Thank you, Philip, for all of the hard work and dedication you’ve shown to improve quality of life, starting at the tap.
