Our final #StraightFromTheTAP honoree for February 2019 represents Great Lakes RCAP. Mary Hutson is the West Virginia State Coordinator, and has been with RCAP for over two years. Prior to joining RCAP, Hutson spent 25 years as a Training Specialist and Water Quality Specialist. She has experience in water operations and regulatory compliance.
Hutson also brings with her an impressive academic background. She received a BS in Chemistry, an MS in Organic Chemistry, and an MS in Environmental Science all from Marshall University in Huntington, WV. She is currently a Class IV Water Operator, a Water Distribution Operator and a WV Backflow Prevention & Assembly Inspector Tester.
“I love the talented and dedicated people that I work with across the RCAP family,” said Hutson. “I enjoy going to work and seeing the positive impact that we as Technical Assistance Providers make in the communities we are assisting, and knowing that no two days will be the same.” Thank you, Mary, for all of the hard work and dedication you’ve shown to improve quality of life, starting at the tap.
