Straight From The TAP – LeAnn Kerzman

March 29, 2019 | Blog, General RCAP News

LeAnn Kerzman is a Technical Assistance Provider in South Dakota, and is today’s Straight From the TAP honoree from Midwest Assistance Program (MAP), the Midwestern RCAP. Kerzman has been providing her technical assistance expertise to MAP for the past 4 years.

Before joining MAP, she spent 20 years of her career working in municipal governments as a Finance Officer and Utility Billing Clerk. These experiences gave her insight into accounting principles, SD state law, government funding agencies and programs and resources available for communities. Prior to these experiences, Kerzman received her degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Computerized Information Systems from Northern State University and she also holds a Technical Assistance Manager of Landfill Operations certification.

Her favorite thing about being a part of the RCAP network is being able to use her skills, contacts and abilities to assist communities and help them be the best they can be. “Whether it is finding a resource to make improvements to their community water, wastewater or solid waste infrastructure, complying with their loan obligations or learning transparent practices to report and protect their investment – I’m glad to help and make a difference.” Thank you, LeAnn, for all of the hard work and dedication you’ve shown to improve quality of life, starting at the tap.
