Straight From the TAP – Gaylene Riley

November 19, 2018 | Blog, General RCAP News

On today’s #StraightFromTheTAP we are spotlighting Gaylene Riley from Oklahoma. Riley joined Communities Unlimited as a Community Environmental Management Specialist over 10 months ago after working for USDA Rural Development for 35+ years as a Community Programs Specialist. At USDA RD Riley worked with community water and wastewater systems throughout the entire process from their funding application development to the construction of facilities.

Her experiences working with rural communities and providing training andassistance to borrowers across the country make her a great asset to the RCAP network. Riley enjoys building relationships with the communities and rural systems she works with across the state of Oklahoma. She finds expanding her knowledge of the daily operations of water systems to be incredibly rewarding. Karen Conrad, Communities Unlimited’s Oklahoma State Director, believes Gaylene brings great experience to the organization. “We are so thankful to have her with us!” says Conrad. Thank you, Gaylene, for all of the hard work and dedication you’ve shown to improve quality of life, starting at the tap.
