$10 Billion Rural Infrastructure Opportunity Fund Announced

Last week, members of the RCAP Board and staff attended the White House Rural Council’s Rural Opportunity Investment Forum where US Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack announced the creation of the Rural Infrastructure Opportunity Fund. The Fund is intended to attract private capital to finance rural infrastructure projects and is seeded with a $10 billion commitment from CoBank. RCAP looks forward to working with the White House Rural Council and USDA to ensure that the funds benefit rural communities and rural people.
