RCAP Executive Director testifies on Capitol Hill

RCAP Executive Director Robert Stewart testified April 25 before the House Rural Development, Research, Biotechnology, and Foreign Agriculture Subcommittee of the Agriculture Committee. The subcommittee hosted the first in a series of hearings on the upcoming Farm Bill reauthorization. There were two panels focusing on the programs in the Rural Development Title.

RCAP sends letters to subcommittees on budget proposals

As Congress debates the federal budget for the remainder of this fiscal year and the next, RCAP is working to ensure that small water and wastewater systems are not left to fend for themselves. RCAP supports continued investment in the federal programs that enable rural communities to provide clean, affordable water to their residents. One such program that is on the chopping block is the EPA’s fund for technical assistance to small water and wastewater systems.
