"When congressional Republicans cut the Environmental Protection Agency’s budget 16 percent as part of a deal with President Obama in April to keep the government running, they hailed it as a blow to a federal bureaucracy that had overreached in its size and ambition.

EPA releases report highlighting role of state revolving funds in implementing ARRA

EPA has released a report highlighting the important role of the Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Funds (SRFs) in implementing the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. Together, the SRFs executed more than 3,200 assistance agreements worth more than $5.6 billion for clean water and drinking water projects.
