EPA has issued the U.S.-Mexico border water infrastructure program's annual report for 2011. The report highlights the significant impacts that the program is having in border communities by providing first-time access to drinking and wastewater infrastructure, improving public health and the environment, and creating jobs.

EPA issues Clean Water State Revolving Fund Green Project Reserve Highlights report, case studies, and fact sheets

EPA is releasing a suite of materials highlighting the innovative approaches states have used to successfully implement projects that address green infrastructure, water or energy efficiency, or other environmentally-innovative activities using the Clean Water State Revolving Fund’s (CWSRF) Green Project Reserve. The CWSRF program, through the reserve, is helping achieve innovative solutions to wastewater infrastructure needs, achieving economic and environmental benefits that will continue to accrue for years to come.

Climate-resilience evaluation and awareness tool exercise report available

EPA has posted online a report on the “Climate Resilience Evaluation and Awareness Tool Exercise with North Hudson Sewerage Authority and New York-New Jersey Harbor Estuary Program.” The report documents the methodology used and the outcomes of the exercise so that other water utilities and National Estuary Programs could conduct a similar exercise of their own as drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater utilities fulfill their public health and environmental missions.
