Community Resources Group, the Southern RCAP, has an opening for Operations/Management Specialist in Oklahoma.

Primary responsibilities include providing on-site technical assistance to water-supply and wastewater-disposal facilities in small communities and rural areas that are experiencing operational, managerial and/or regulatory compliance-related difficulties and problems.  The position is based in the northeast area of Oklahoma.

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Program announced today a memorandum of understanding to connect veterans with disabilities to career opportunities in the water and wastewater sectors -- such as at wastewater plants and drinking water facilities -- as part of EPA’s Water Sector Workforce Initiative.

A new video, "Water You Waiting For" is now available for viewing on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) website. Produced by EPA as part of the agency's efforts to promote water sector careers as green jobs, the "Water You Waiting For" video is designed for high school and vocational students.
