The Tribal Utility Governance (TUG) program is run by RCAP and its partners - the Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC), the Western RCAP; Community Resource Group (CRG), the Southern RCAP; the Inter Tribal Council of Arizona, Inc. (ITCA); and SmallWaterSupply.org [1].
The TUG program will provide training and technical assistance on utility management, financial and managerial capacity issues for personnel of tribally owned and operated public water systems (PWS) in U.S. EPA Regions 6, 8, and 9.
TUG training is for tribal government officials, utility board members, water system managers, other decision makers, and staff operating and maintaining tribal public water systems. TUG trainings will occur concurrently at the meetings of several new Native American Water Masters' Association (NAWMA) workgroups.
