OnEarth magazine: For those who labor on the richest agricultural land in the nation, clean water is a luxury
OnEarth magazine, a publication of the Natural Resources Defense Council, has an article posted March 5 that features Seville, Calif. The article states that residents of one of the richest agricultural regions of the world can't drink water from the tap and asks if there a way to fix the problem.
The community and region featured in the article are the types of areas that RCAP works in, where residents are often minority and low-income, and where there are challenges in staying in compliance with state and federal regulations.
