Tool to start conversation with community leaders about protecting sources of drinking water
The Source Water Collaborative (SWC) has created Your Water. Your Decision. , a guide you can customize for your community to provide members and others interested in protecting drinking water with a tool for starting a conversation with local officials about what can be done in their community to protect sources of drinking water.
The SWC is comprised of federal, state, and local partners (including RCAP) which come together to protect America's drinking water at the source - in the lakes, rivers, streams and aquifers we tap for drinking purposes.
Use the guide to:
- Raise awareness.
- Show how to turn ideas into action.
- Provide resources where more in-depth information can be found.
At the site below, you can create a customized Your Water. Your Decision. guide for your local policymakers. With the easy online tool, it takes just a few minutes to make a custom guide that can:
- Emphasize local or regional issues
- Provide community and state resources
- Include your organization's brand
