USDA Water and Environmental Program celebrates 75th anniversary

USDA Rural Utilities Service Administrator Jonathan Adelstein, Under Secretary for Rural Development Dallas Tonsager, and RCAP Executive Director Robert Stewart at the USDA Water and Environmental Program’s Partner Appreciation Day Presentation on Feb. 7. Celebrating 75 years of service by the program, Adelstein noted the tremendous accomplishments that have been made in providing millions of rural Americans water and wastewater services that not only protect public health but also ensure a prosperous future for rural communities across America. Adelstein highlighted the crucial support provided by RCAP and the National Rural Water Association in providing technical assistance and training to thousands of rural communities in every state.
