Sample excavation checklist
Trenching and excavations are a common part of municipal and quasi-municipal operations in most communities. In most of these workplaces, trenching and excavation are not a daily occurrence, so it is extremely important that strict safety guidelines are followed as this is not a part of daily operations. This sample excavation checklist is designed to be completed by the site's "competent person" to ensure the safety of everyone working on the site and to keep your system in compliance with OSHA regulations.
