Harold Truxon, a dedicated leader in a rural community and a member of the Southeast RCAP board of directors for the past eight years, has done wonders for his small town of Ellendale, Del. Truxon was featured in an article by the Delaware News Journal for his outstanding work in his community. If not for Truxon, Ellendale’s central sewer system would either be non-existent or would have been much more expensive. Protecting public health and ensuring that all residents have safe and affordable water and wastewater services have been a passion for Truxon.

“These people are very poor, and they don’t have much power,” said Bishop Major Foster, an officer in the Ellendale association and pastor of the Philadelphia Pentecostal Holiness Church. “Truxon tries to be a voice for those people.”
