From the Daily Yonder blog: "Waiting for Water on Ruleville-Drew Road"
We ran across this entry from the Daily Yonder blog:
"Waiting for Water on Ruleville-Drew Road"
How hard is it to get water in some parts of rural America? Ask the residents along the Ruleville-Drew Road in Sunflower County, Mississippi. They've been waiting seven years.
RCAP is not working in this particular community, but it is the type of place that RCAP works in and with. This article also illustrates the often enormous needs for safe, clean water that still exist in rural parts of the United States and the challenges residents in these places face.
