RCAP is part of a much larger group of many entities that are concerned about and work on challenges facing rural America. These include government agencies at the federal, state, regional and local levels that provide funding and operate a wide range of programs from housing to job creation. This group also includes many private organizations and associations that address an array of issues as well. Even considering RCAP's main focus - water and wastewater systems in small, rural communities - there are many similar organizations working in the same area. And because RCAP's regional partners have other extensive programs that complement the water and wastewater work that is RCAP's national programs, their partners on the regional, state and local level are broader than this sector.

In short, the list of RCAP's funders and collaborators is long and diverse. The RCAP network is in turn part of a larger network of agencies, organizations and associations that it collaborates with, from receiving funding in order to carry out objectives and programs to cooperating with in order to meet the needs of rural communities.
